Ingredients
1/2 kilo mutton (chopped)
2 tsp. fried crisp coriander seeds
1 1/2tsp. pepper
2 onion(sliced)
2 tomatoes
1 inch piece ginger
1 pod garlic(ground)
2 green chilies
1/2 bunch of coriander leaves
1 tsp turmeric powder
3 cloves
1 inch stick cinnamon
Salt to taste
2 tbs oil
Method
- Grind to a smooth paste the the garlic,ginger,pepper,coriander seeds,green chilies,cloves,cinnamon,coriander leaves and lastly the tomatoes.
- Heat oil in a pan.Add the onion and fry till golden brown.Add turmeric and the chopped mutton.
- Continue to fry for a while.Stir well.Add salt and ground masala paste.
- Continue stirring adding a little water and cook.
- Continue to simmer till gravy is absorbed to the desired consistency.
- This goes well with any rice or chapatti.
